Etruscan Art- Greek and Roman Vases

Taking a focused look at vases and vassals from the Roman and Greek era. Vinspace created a lesson on the style, patterns and symbols of Roman and Greek Vases. The class started off by looking at and analysing old photos of vases. From there they drew out their shape of choice, then proceed to fill in their vase drawing with different coloured pastels.

We then went onto mix black paint with washing up liquid, to paint over the drawings with. This process allows us to scratch off the paint to create our patterns and symbols with. Scratching off the paint reveals the first layer of pastel colours and makes for an unusual lesson of learning different mixed media techniques.

Nghiên cứu về các nền văn minh Hy Lạ và La Mã, những nhà du hành thời gian của Vinspace đã tìm thấy cảm hứng nơi những chiếc bình hoa và bình chứa nước tinh xảo với các hoạ tiết trang trí năng tính biểu tượng và kĩ thuật tạo hình độc đáo. Từ đây, kết hợp với sự sáng tạo trong việc phối hợp nhiều chất liệu mỹ thuật, bọn mình đã tự vẽ nên những chiếc bình xinh đẹp và rực rỡ của riêng mình.

Ứng dụng sáng tạo kĩ thuật cạo màu, bọn mình vẽ một lớp sáp dầu với tổ hợp màu yêu thích, sau đó thêm một lớp sơn acrylic đen trộn với nước rửa chén tạo thành một hỗn hợp mềm dễ dàng cạo bỏ. Và như thế, bọn mình sẵn sàng cho một buổi học mới lạ, chọn dáng bình độc đào và những hoạ tiết Etruscan cổ xưa, dần loại bỏ lớp sơn đen và khám phá điều kì diệu dần hiện lên bên dưới.
